Placing a file in another user’s Drop Box is the best way to share files without adding any restrictions to them. When another user logs in, they should be able to see the shared files from their own account. To transfer a file between two user accounts on your Mac, all you need to do is move it to one of the three folders below. Each of these folders serves a different purpose, letting you stop other people from editing your shared files if you need to. Download files to your new user account.

Upload files from your original user account.

Sync your Desktop and Documents folders using iCloud Drive.

Merge account information between two different users.

Change the read and write permissions on shared files.

Enter the recipient's name or email address and click Submit (the recipient must be a member of your Dropbox Business team).

Select the option to Transfer to another team member.

Click the gear icon to the right of the former member's name and select Manage files from the menu.

Under Member type, select Deleted from the dropdown.

After choosing whether or not to use the remote wipe option, click Delete.Enter the recipient's name or email address (the recipient must be a member of your Business account).In the pop-up window, leave the selection at Yes to immediately transfer the deleted user's Dropbox files to another team member.Click the gear icon for the person you want to remove and select Delete user from the menu.

Enter the Admin Console from the left sidebar.

Keep in mind that you can use account transfer just once for each member. If you're the team admin or user management admin of a Dropbox Business team, you can use account transfer when you delete a team member's account from Dropbox Business or later on if it makes more sense (for example, after you've onboarded a new person who will need the files).
